Ann has been with Allie Design since 1989 and a marketing and
public relations consultant since 1980. Prior to joining Allie Design
she was the National Advertising and Public Relations Director
at Brooks Shoe, Inc. where she supervised national and international
communications including collateral materials, advertising campaigns,
public relations, ad agency management, media placement, trade
show development, sales presentations and point of purchase displays.
This experience shaped her perspective and role at Allie Design
where she functions as account/project manager, writer and marketing
consultant. During her 15 years with the firm she has earned a
reputation for quickly recognizing client needs and keeping projects
on track. A few of the accounts she’s taken care of include Grand
Rapids Eye Institute, Borgess Health Alliance, Ingham Medical
Center, Flowerland, Frederik Meijer Gardens, Gerald R. Ford
International Airport and the Public Museum of Grand Rapids.
She is also a potter active in the Urban Institute for Contemporary
Arts Urban Clay Studio and gardener.
Ann earned her Bachelor of Science degree with a major in
communications from Grand Valley State University. Her work
has won many national and international awards.
