A public relations firm
contracted us to create
a print and radio campaign
to increase brand awareness
and build local patient
retention for a hospital
competing for market share.

We developed a series of

newspaper ads and :60 radio

spots tied to creating a new

reality for the hospital’s target

market. Ads consisted of short

benefit driven headlines with

copy backed by facts. The

campaign was awarded by

the Public Relations Society of

America (PRSA) with first place

in the "Campaigns" category

and also won "Best of Show".

An integral component of

PRSA judging includes bottom

line results.

The goal for this campaign
was to increase provider
and parent participation in
the Michigan Childhood
Immunization Registry
(MCIR) program.

We were contacted five years ago by the

Kent County Health Department to rebrand

the MCIR program. Problem was, parents

were opting out of this helpful service for

no apparent reason and there needed to

be higher provider participation too. We

rebranded the service by emphasizing

program benefits and featured fun shots

of the target market. Rather than producing

a conventionally sized brochure, the piece

was sized slightly larger than a shot card.

This was more convenient for parents and

saved the health department $$$.

Over time we’ve developed additional

collateral pieces including a poster, folder

and booklet supporting the MCIR web site.

These pieces have been a huge hit and

are now used virtually statewide.

This respected and established
medical practice needed help
launching and establishing
their new venture which
features self pay
cosmetic procedures.

New innovations in dermatology have made

it possible to reverse signs of aging without

surgery. Our challenge was to determine the

ideal target market for these services,

educate them and position our client as

THE place to go. This field of services is

extremely competitive with a wide range of

providers. The scope of our services included

public relations, branding, media buys,

marketing plans, print and broadcast advertising

campaigns, brochures, a stationery package

and special event marketing. Within two years,

the self-pay services venture has become a

thriving practice within its own right with

expanded services, employees and

procedure rooms.

Grand Rapids Eye Institute
wanted to maximize the
impact of their advertising
efforts, improve their website
and create a synergy between
the advertising mediums
being used.

The field of refractive surgery is in

a constant state of change and

Dr. Brian Bearie of the Grand Rapids

Eye Institute is at the leading edge of

technology. This presents both challenges

and opportunities due to the technical

aspects of the services offered and the

increasing number of individuals who

can now be helped. Since Dr. Bearie is

frequently the first in the area to offer

new technology such as the Crystalens,

we communicate the benefits of these

advances in tandem with his qualifications

and base of satisfied patients.
