Kim founded Allie Design in 1985 and has been immersed in every
project ever done by the firm. Her enthusiastic approach and
extensive experience with clients ranging in size from small, family
owned businesses to Fortune 500 corporations, set the foundation
for creative that produces marketplace results.
Kim’s production experience and uncanny troubleshooting skills save
clients money and time. Prior to founding Allie Design she was an
Art Director and Manager at a large agency in Grand Rapids.
Her experience is vast, including lead roles in projects with clients
such as Borgess Health Alliance, Butterworth Health System, the
Kent County Health Department, Dermatology Associates, the Urban
Institute for Contemporary Arts, Frederik Meijer Gardens, Circle Theatre,
the Gerald R. Ford International Airport and the Zondervan Corporation.
Kim earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree at Kendall College of Art
and Design with an illustration, communications and advertising major.
She is a member of the prestigious Society of Illustrators and has won
numerous national and international awards.
In the community, Kim regularly volunteers for the Rockford Public
Schools, WYCE, Circle Theatre and the Urban Institute for
Contemporary Arts.
